MENTAL HEALTH IN ATLANTA

What We Treat

Mental Health

When daily stress, emotions, or persistent symptoms start to interfere with how you live, professional support can make a real difference. We help people regain stability and direction.

Dual Diagnosis

Recovery becomes more complicated when mental health challenges and substance use overlap. Our team treats both conditions together, helping clients rebuild routines and reduce relapse risk.

Mood Disorder

Unpredictable mood shifts can affect sleep, relationships, and motivation. Our treatment focuses on restoring emotional balance and creating steady patterns that make everyday life feel manageable again.

Thought Disorder

When thoughts feel scattered, confusing, or disconnected from reality, daily functioning can become overwhelming. Therapy helps improve clarity, communication, and confidence in handling routine situations.

Anxiety Disorders

Constant worry can quietly take over decision-making, sleep, and concentration. We work with individuals to reduce anxious patterns and develop practical ways to feel more in control.

PTSD Treatment

Trauma doesn’t always stay in the past. Our trauma-informed care helps individuals process painful experiences safely while rebuilding trust in themselves and their environment.

ADHD

Difficulty staying organized or focused can create frustration at work, school, or home. Treatment builds structure, strengthens attention, and supports more consistent follow-through on daily tasks.

Dissociative Disorder

Feeling disconnected from memories, surroundings, or even yourself can be unsettling. Therapy focuses on grounding techniques and helping individuals feel more present and secure.

Borderline Personality Disorder

Rapid emotional shifts and intense relationships can feel exhausting to manage alone. Treatment helps build emotional regulation skills and healthier ways to respond to stress.

OCD Treatment

Repetitive thoughts and rituals can consume time and create constant tension. Therapy helps individuals gradually reduce compulsions and regain confidence in making everyday decisions.

Schizoaffective Disorder

Balancing mood symptoms alongside hallucinations or delusions requires consistent clinical support. Our programs focus on stability, medication management, and maintaining independence in daily life.

Grief Treatment

Loss can change how a person thinks, sleeps, and connects with others. Supportive therapy provides space to process emotions and slowly adjust to life after loss.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Does Mental Health Treatment Last?

At New View Wellness, we have a minimum of a 30 day enrollment in our program, however the length of each person’s treatment program depends on their specific needss.

Yes! In fact, your insurance could potentially cover a large portion, if not all of your treatment. All insurance carriers and plan coverage depend on your particular policy. Our admissions specialists can provide a complementary verification of benefits to determine what is covered before you enter our program. Verify your insurance now.

Family involvement can greatly help throughout the treatment process. Mental health affects everyone, not just the person suffering. We offer family counseling in our programs to help clients and their families develop a healthy family system.

Is your mental health interfering with your everyday life? If so, you may need treatment. Depression, anxiety, panic attacks, unprocessed trauma, mood swings, destructive behaviors, and ADHD are all signs you may need to find mental health treatment. In addition, it’s always important to seek treatment now, rather than later so your mental health does not worsen.

When you come in to do your intake, you’ll be greeted by our staff just like family. From there, we give you a tour of our facilities and after that, you’ll complete your intake paperwork where we’ll get your background to build your treatment plan. Depending on what level of care you enter into, you’ll then discuss your treatment schedule and the resources available to you. From there, the healing journey begins.
